Tree Help
tree help

Starting trees from seed can be one of the most rewarding gardening activities, but tree seeds often require a little more preparation than many common flower or vegetable seeds.

In most cases, there are two ways to start tree seeds: The natural way, which often includes sowing the seeds in the fall, or through forced or “assisted” germination, which is initially done indoors.

Through a concerted and caring effort, we can help our green companions live long and healthy lives in our towns and cities. We hope you share our goal and commitment to protecting our valuable, but vulnerable urban trees and shrubs.

What You Should Know
Plant a tree and help environment! A single tree will absorb one ton of carbon dioxide over its lifetime.
A tree lives and breathes steadily and constantly. It uses the light from the sun to convert minerals and water from the soil, and the carbon dioxide it receives from the air to sustain that life.
A healthy tree can be very long-lived, certainly much more so than its human counterpart. Indeed it will remain on a property, becoming a source of enjoyment for many generations to come.
